RESULTS
Independent researchers have found that ANet schools make more progress on year-end assessment than their peers:
- On average, Boston schools working with ANet have higher achievement gains on the MCAS than either Boston Public Schools or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts;
- Excel Academy Charter School, which struggled prior to working with ANet, is now one of the top middle schools in Massachusetts and regularly outperforms top suburban schools. Excel cites its work with ANet as a significant factor in its dramatic improvement; and
- Schools implementing more fully ANet practices have higher achievement gains than those with weaker implementation.
