Committed to education, advancing equity, and empowerment while promoting excellence in education for all students, Ronetta Wards is Executive Director of ANet Michigan. Ronetta has served for more than a decade as a teacher, mentor, professional development facilitator, technology director, college transition liasion, and school improvement consultant.  She has served school districts in Florida, Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan, focusing on empathy actions, disruptive innovation, and leadership coaching. Ronetta lead the charge with school turnaround, teacher ownership in STEM, and building teacher capacity in data analysis for improved student learning outcomes.
Ronetta is a native of Jacksonville, FL and has a BS in Biology from Florida A&M University, a MS in Secondary Education from the University of North Florida, M.Ed in Educational Leadership from Ashland University, and currently pursuing her PhD in K-12 Educational Administration at Michigan State University.
