We help schools build on strengths

Through an integrated system of tools and training, ANet helps support great teaching that’s grounded in standards and informed by data.

Interim assessments

ANet has made a HUGE impact on my instruction in the classroom, understanding of the standards, and the performance of my students.
— teacher leader, MA

Four times a year, ANet provides interim assessments that give educators timely, actionable, and student-specific data. We meticulously develop assessment questions that align to the standards and reflect the demands of state summative assessments. This helps teachers understand what students know and can do. But the data from our assessments don’t capture only right and wrong—they provide information about which students are struggling, with what, and why.

Tools and instructional resources

Our integrated online platform, myANet, provides tools to make it easier for teachers to meet their students' needs.

Reports: useful and easy to interpret; designed in response to teacher requests.

Lessons: a wealth of high quality sample lessons curated by our curriculum specialists.

Quiz builder tool with a large library of sample items so teachers can easily create targeted formative mini-assessments.

Our unique misconception guides that help you understand why your students arrive at wrong answers so you can address their specific needs.

Time-saving planning tools make teachers' work easier and more effective.

Coaching

Our coach is a true professional. He shows his compassion through his words, tones, and actions, but always ‘brings it full circle’ to student achievement.
— assistant principal, LA

Each partner school receives regular visits from its ANet coach over the course of the year. Coaches learn about schools' strengths and needs, then work alongside teachers and leaders to implement four cycles of planning and instruction to meet student needs. They serve as thought partners to leaders, share best practices we've learned from our partners over the last decade, and channel the resources of our teams of specialists.

Network and professional development

What can I do in my classroom that has been successful in yours?
— Kellye Sheehy, teacher, MA

Teaching can be an isolating profession, but we all do our best when we collaborate with and learn from our peers. Our partner schools benefit from the power of our network of over 700 diverse schools across the country. We bring together district and charter, struggling and nationally recognized, new and longtime partners to collaborate and problem solve. We organize in-person events to facilitate networking and knowledge sharing among teachers and school leaders. Connecting to share techniques and strategies helps all our partners.

Our network-based professional development helps schools set priorities, develop a strong team of leaders, and boost student achievement. We provide in-person and online opportunities for school leaders and teachers to step back, assess their needs, and improve their practice.
