New England Spring Network Meeting

Join leaders from schools and districts across the state to develop your vision and priorities for standards-aligned instruction. We'd love to have you join for a portion of this event to: 

  • Learn from and collaborate with other leaders who are tackling this work
  • Dig into standards to understand the implications for teachers and students and for you as an instructional leader
  • Explore free, time-saving planning and coaching resources that you and your teachers can use every day
  • Identify clear next steps that you can implement immediately to support teachers in standards-aligned planning and instruction

The Network Meeting content and objectives will be focused on promoting equitable student outcomes through strong leadership and instructional practices. You'll have the opportunity to connect with leaders and teachers from across Eastern New England in one of three areas: 

Lead the Change: Distributing Leadership and Building Leadership Teams

Working together, school leaders will explore:

  • How teams are created and what the development of the individuals on those teams could look like 
  • The why and how of distributing the leadership in your building to advance your instructional priority

Do the Math: Year in Review: Curriculum Study & Planning

Working together, teachers and instructional coaches will use curriculum internalization materials to:

  • Apply your knowledge and skills to evaluate, internalize, and adapt a module/unit in the upcoming school year
  • Solidify your knowledge of the three shifts (focus, coherence, rigor) by analyzing curricular materials    

We all Teach Literacy: High-Quality Text Sets & Access for All! 

Working together, teachers and instructional coaches will use shared resources to: 

  • Experience and turnkey instructional practices that allow all student to build knowledge through high-quality text sets
