Chief network officer
Kimberly Cockrell joined ANet in 2011 as a director of school support. She continued her ANet journey to work as the director of learning and development, focusing on innovating aspects of professional development for both leaders and teachers and building communities of practice through shared development and collaborative opportunities. She launched the Ohio Network as the executive director in 2015, working alongside district and charter leaders, other nonprofit members and community members to strive for data-driven instruction and equity in schools in Northeast Ohio. Kimberly began her work in Ohio as a founding teacher and later as a principal, before serving as the director of academics. She served as middle school director and director of assessment and professional development at Washington Latin Public Charter School (DC). Kimberly has a B.A. in English and Cinema from Denison University and pursued graduate studies in Educational Leadership at Antioch McGregor University.
