Vice president, strategic growth and partnerships
Maia A. Blankenship is a changemaker and equity advocate who works in public education to ensure that educators are valued, supported and empowered to accelerate student learning. As vice president of strategic growth and partnerships, Maia oversees our approach to growth in new geographies across the country and provides ANet with the tools to think about long-term growth while balancing impact and sustainability. Prior to her current role, she served for four years as the executive director for ANet DC and ANet Maryland. Outside of ANet, Maia serves as vice chair of The Equity Lab and is an adviser to the Equity Design Collaborative. Maia graduated from Spelman College and earned her MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
