Nevada 2019-20 cohort

Tam Shear is an executive director of ANet Nevada. She and her team of coaches work alongside leaders and teachers to support educational equity for ALL students in Nevada. Tam came to ANet after working for TNTP in Nevada supporting teachers and leaders from pre-K to 12th grade. Prior to that, she served as a teacher leader coach with Teach for America in Las Vegas. Earlier in her career, Tam worked as a teacher, Math Department Chair, and a member of the Instructional Leadership Team at Animo Watts Academy, part of the Green Dot Public Charter Network in Los Angeles. She began her career in education as a middle school math teacher and math data lead in Washington, DC.

Tam earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Administration from the University of California - Riverside and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education - Mathematics from American University.

Sarah Ledon is an executive director of ANet Nevada focused on Clark County School District. Sarah leads a team of coaches to support school and district leadership teams in California and Nevada. She recently worked as an English language arts field specialist for Open Up Resources. Before that, she held various education leadership roles in Nevada, including school improvement administrator, instructional coach, and classroom teacher.

Sarah has contributed content to Khan Academy, EdReports, and Student Achievement Partners. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Education Degree from the University of Nevada and a Master of Education degree in Education Leadership from American College of Education.
